Last week was the first opportunity I’ve had to see the new Camper store on Neal Street in Covent Garden. The space is fantastic and was designed by young Spanish designer, Tomas Alonso, as part of the Camper Together project, where Camper collaborates with selected designers to create both new stores and products. Alonso designed everything from the displays, to the lighting fixtures to the optical illusion wall tiles and the mix of materials, tiling, wood, steel, are just right. The space has a distinctly London feel, while still flying the flag for the very cool and contemporary Spanish brand.
